One of the greatest challenges that we encounter in life is change. Change uncovers feelings of anxiety along with anticipation for what lies ahead. The challenge comes when change pushes us out of our comfort zone into something unfamiliar.
Our family is filled with emotion as we embark on this new season of change in our ministry. While it is difficult to leave a family that you have served with for 12 years, we are very excited to be a part of the wonderful ministry that God is doing at Pine Level! But isn’t that what God is all about? From the beginning and throughout His whole story, He teaches us about the blessing that comes with change. God set out to create something new, a new creation that will bring about His Kingdom on earth. Because as a family we have said “yes” to God, we know we will always encounter change as we join Him in His creation. God’s creation runs swiftly and our hearts are filled with joy as we make ourselves available to His will for our lives and His ministry. What a blessing it is for us to witness the people at Pine Level saying “yes” to God! We can see God at work here in a mighty way and feel blessed to be invited to participate in what He is doing. Yes Lord, here we are!
“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!”
2 Corinthians 5:17.

I have been married to a wonderful man, Bob, for 47 years and we have two beloved sons, two daughters-in-love (or so I like to call them), who are a blessing, and five awesome grandchildren (ranging in ages from 24 to 12). We have lived in Florida since 1968 and have loved every moment of it. Oh yes, I must not forget to mention we have 6 cows, 2 goats, 4 cats, and 2 dogs, which brings all of us much pleasure….and work too!
In 2002, after serving several years in the business world, I began serving Pine Level as administrative assistant. I served in this capacity for seven years before being promoted to my current position. What a blessing! I have found the church to be supportive, kind, loving, and helpful and am eternally grateful for this special ministry.
I love working here at the church. I love the church family, the pastoral family and especially the youth of our church. Keith and I have been serving in the youth ministry for 8 years here at Pine Level. I have been the church secretary since September 2010 and enjoying the job. I have found many opportunities to minister to people and work with many different ministries other than the youth happening here at Pine Level. I am excited to be a part. You may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
In addition to serving here at Pine Level UMC I have been selling real estate since 1999, and I am a realtor at Turner Realty in Arcadia. You can email any real estate related questions to me at email@example.com .
Larry Aument has many ministries here at Pine Level. He has been the Children's Church director for several years and teaches the younger children ages 1st grade to 5th grade on Sunday morning.
